Tribute - Mylène Farmer's 50th Birthday!

In September the 12th of 1961, a very little and lovely girl was born. Her parents called her Mylène.
She wasn't like the other girls. She was special for she was destined for great things and achievements.
She was gifted with the capacity of singing, of drawing, of dancing, of manipulating words in order to form beautiful texts and poetry. She was able to enchant with her beauty and silent manners.
The time passed and she turned to an amazing and elegant woman, like a little duck turns into a Swan.
She was loved and cared, she was never alone. But she was always afraid. She was afraid of people’s expectations.
She was afraid of not satisfying those expectations.

Even with that fear inside her, she conquered millions of hearts through her art.
She assembled nations. She made a family out of those people that she loved as they loved her.
She changed their lives; she gave them something that they needed.
She gave them glow and understanding when they missed it.
She gave comfort and words, feelings and knowledge.
She was always kind and so her admirers where also kind to her.
You could always see, next to her picture in the news paper, a commentary of a journalist about her relationship with the people that admired her.
Most of those words didn’t fit to great feeling that they both, lovely Mylène and her public, had. No words are proper to describe what the Heart wants to say.
Most of the explanations comes in tears and smiles, in words like “Thank you”, and “I love you too”. But they aren’t enough.
A feeling like this must be felt in order to understand it.

As I said, time passed, Mylène turned into Mylène Farmer, the living legend.
And I grew up as well...
And I saw her, in her glory and in worse times, I have seen revolt, hanger, hate, but when I look at her face I see peace, understanding, kindness but also doubt.

How this story ends?
“I don’t know!” would be a simpler answer. But I like a good challenge.
In the future many will know about a woman called Mylène Farmer, few will know her, but they will notice the kindness and love and this strong feeling that doesn’t go away easily.
I am honoured to be part of her public, I am proud of what I have been taught by her. I am proud for the five years I have been admiring her.
And I am sure I am not the only one.

Now I leave you with some exclusive creations that I made specially for this ocasion.
